Minds Matter Welcomes New CEO to National Office
New York, NY – November 14, 2016 — Gadi Ben-Menachem joins the team in Minds Matter’s national office as Chief Executive Officer. He brings to Minds Matter more than 15 years of experience in volunteer leadership for several nonprofit organizations in his community and on a national level.
Most notably, Ben-Menachem has spent many years working with mentoring organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. He has served as Co-Chair of the nationwide Leadership Council and as Board Chair for his local chapter. In 2013, Ben-Menachem received the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America National Board Member of the Year Award. He was honoree for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Norther New Jersey’s Annual Gala in 2005.
In his new role as CEO, Ben-Menachem will collaborate with the organization’s 13 chapters on strategic initiatives and continue to raise awareness of Minds Matter and its successes following being named US beneficiary for 100 Women in Hedge Funds. He will also work to identify opportunities for Minds Matter to build meaningful partnerships and funding relationships that support the organization’s growth and success.

Ben-Menachem has a background in finance; most recently, he was a Managing Director at Oppenheimer & Co. for 26 years. He graduated from Boston University with a BS in Business Administration & Finance and served in the Israeli Defense Force as a First Class Company Sergeant and Tank Commander.
