Chicago - Who We Are

Welcome to Minds Matter of Chicago! Although Minds Matter has been committed to making college education a reality for motivated inner-city high school students since 1991, only recently has the mission been launched in Chicago. In 2006, Minds Matter of Chicago opened its doors.

Since then, we have doubled in size each year. Today, we have more than 25 students and 80 volunteers. To measure our success, we track mentee improvement rates across all curriculum and initial results have been encouraging. Over the past two years, we have sent students to programs at prestigious schools around the country, including Georgetown, Cornell, Brown, Stanford, Northwestern and University of Chicago.
