Spring for the Students Development Committee:
The 3rd annual Spring for the Students Fundraiser will be held April 25, 2009 at Bentley Gold Coast and we are looking for volunteers to join the development committee. Come play a central role in building the annual fundraiser that has gained attention from Chicago's RedEye, MetroMix, and Chicagoist publications. We're looking for eager, self-motivating individuals to help solicit sponsors, secure auction items, and lead planning for the event. This is a very rewarding position as proceeds raised go directly toward sending Chicago's inner-city students to summer programs at leading universities across the country. Videographer:
Seeking a motivated volunteer to help direct and film a 5-8 minute video. The video will include footage from our work sessions and interviews with key personnel. Looking for someone with the equipment and experience to film the shots, as well as edit into an entertaining documentary exploring our non-profit's mission. Volunteer will be compensated with a free ticket to our annual fundraiser where the film will be aired for the 1st time. If interested, please contact Lisa Souter at Chicago@mindsmatter.org.
